Taranto, 12 de noviembre de 1969), cuyo verdadero nombre es Daniela Miglietta, da sus primeros pasos en el mundo de la m\u00fasica en Taranto, su ciudad natal, donde asisti\u00f3 a una escuela de canto y dicci\u00f3n, apasionadose por el jazz. En 1987, despu\u00e9s de ganar el concurso de radio \u00abnasce una estella\u00bb, debut\u00f3 en el Festival de San Remo con la canci\u00f3n \u00abSogno\u00bb, compuesta para ella por Claudio Mattone. Vuelve a Sanemo en 1989 con \u00abCanzoni\u00bb de Amedeo Minghi y una pareja con Minghi obtiene el tercer lugar en 1990 con la canci\u00f3n \u00abVattene amore\u00bb. Ese mismo a\u00f1o lanz\u00f3 su primer \u00e1lbum, \u00abCanzoni\u00bb.<br \/>\nEl \u00e1lbum, certificado cinco veces platino con m\u00e1s de 500.000 copias vendidas, contiene canciones escritas principalmente por Amedeo Minghi. El disco se carcteriza por una bien lograda combinaci\u00f3n de refinadas atm\u00f3sferas musicales y la natural elegancia interpretativa de la entonces veintea\u00f1ora cantante.
