Desempolvando los primeros post del viejo blog he encontrado la segunda colaboraci\u00f3n de Kurtigghiu, esta maravilla de compilaci\u00f3n que hab\u00edamos presentado en junio el 2008; vale la pena volver a postearla.<\/p>\n

Strange Fruit, como muchos saben, ha sido probablemente la primera canci\u00f3n de denuncia contra el racismo.
\nA finales de los a\u00f1os 40 el linchamiento de los negros, aunque espor\u00e1dico, era todav\u00eda una triste realidad.<\/p>\n

Ser\u00e1 la im\u00e1gen de aquellos cuerpos meci\u00e9ndose de los arboles la que inspire Abel Meeropol a escribir esta canci\u00f3n desgarradora. Son ellos los extra\u00f1os frutos che \u00abse mecen el la brisa sure\u00f1a\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Billie Holiday la cantar\u00e1 por primera vez en el m\u00edtico Caf\u00e8 Society de New York y har\u00e1 de ella su canci\u00f3n estandarte por toda su corta carrera art\u00edstica.<\/p>\n

A lo largo de 70 a\u00f1os son muchos los artistas che han rendido homenaje sea al artista que a la canci\u00f3n. En este Cd est\u00e1n algunas de las interpretaciones m\u00e1s interesantes.<\/p>\n

Naturalmente Kurtigghiu es yambi\u00e9n el creador de esta estupenda gr\u00e1fica, tan espectacular que he querido postearla completa!<\/p>\n
